Discover the Yucatan — historical haciendas, world class art and design, Mayan ruins, and a diverse culinary journey.

From the vibrant boulevards of Merida to the ochre-yellow walls of Izamal, the Yucatan is a place that moves at its own unhurried pace and rewards those who slow down enough to feel it. We will wander the rooms of extraordinary historic mansions, learn from Mayan cooks, sip mezcal with local aficionados, browse the studios of remarkable artisans, and eat very, very well. This is not a sightseeing sprint. This is a relaxing, considered immersion into one of Mexico's most culturally rich and visually stunning regions.

Our cohort is intentionally small, our mornings are slow, and our days are full of the kind of moments that stay with you long after you're home.

Highlights of our journey:

Serene Stays: Four nights in our favorite hacienda-style hotel, in Merida. Central, quiet oasis with the largest private pool in the city. From there, travel east two hours, for a two night stay in a small architectural gem in Espita.
Merida in Depth: Explore the city's extraordinary architectural heritage with visits to its most magnificent historic mansions.
Culinary Traditions: Join a family-led, hands-on Mayan cooking class followed by a traditional lunch — an unforgettable window into the region's living food culture.
Mayan Sites : A visit to Chichén-Itzá as well as other less known, but equally breathtaking historic sites.
Mezcal & Design: An evening at Vernâculo for a mezcal tasting and design talk with one of our favorite local makers and shops.
Art & Architecture: A visit to Plantel Matilde, a world class destination for art and design.

Trip Description: This itinerary balances cultural discovery with genuine relaxation, mansion visits, swims, cooking classes, artisan encounters, and a mix of interesting bites. Mornings begin with optional yoga and a slow start, with excursions beginning at 10:00 am. Afternoons leave room to wander, rest, and soak it all in.

Stay: Hotel Antelar (4 nights) and Casona Los Cedros (2 nights)

Transportation: Comfortable, luxury transportation throughout the region.

Double occupancy: $9000

A 40% non-refundable deposit is due to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due by December 20, 2026 and is non-refundable once paid.
