Blink and you may miss the town of Coba. But don't. Because the calm that comes with this town is a treat. Driving up to Coqui Coqui, you really cannot believe what lies ahead. The approach to the hotel looks like many small towns on the Yucatan, plenty of soul but not much to see. When Coqui Couqi comes into focus, the rough hewn limestone structures lure you in, the slow pace, delicious food, great spa and nice service keep you hypnotized and not wanting to leave.You really lose track of time amongst these walls. But make sure that you visit the park down the road that holds the tallest Mayan pyramid in all of Mexico.
