One of the most fascinating and discussed topic of the Faroe Islands is their tunnel system. Before traveling there, I really could never get a great understanding of this tunnel system, that becomes very straightforward and easy to navigate once in the Faroes. The tunnels are part of daily life, and are pivotal in navigating across the islands. These tunnels lead to some of our favorite spots in the Faroe Islands, including the Village of Gjógv.
