There is no better place for lunch in the Faroe Islands than Fiskastykkid. It is a beautiful restaurant on the island of Vagar, not far from Vagar Airport. Everything from the coffee, baked good, and fresh breakfast and lunch items are terrific but the greatest standout at Fiskastykkid is the fish soup. Get the fish soup! After your belly is full, walk it off as you make your way from the cafe up to the viewpoint to see the "Witches Finger", a famous rock formation out in the sea. It is often foggy and hard to see the Witches Finger, but it's a fun hike either way and the the combination of lunch and the hike it a great way to spend a day in the Faroes.
